| Summary: | O fenômeno do abuso sexual de crianças e adolescentes é um fato global, bizarro e silencioso. Fazse presente na vida de centenas de famílias, atingindo milhões de menores de idade anualmente. Este fenômeno, que pode ser considerado uma patologia, é, ao mesmo tempo, um delito, pois fere a dignidade da pessoa humana, invadindo a liberdade e tolhendo o desenvolvimento das vítimas. Este mal atingiu igualmente os membros da Igreja: crianças e adolescentes foram abusados por aqueles que deveriam proteger e orientálos. A Igreja respondeu a este fenômeno com a manifestação dos Romanos Pontífices. Somente um instituto multidisciplinar seria capaz de compreender tal fenômeno, acolhendo e auxiliando as vítimas, bem como agindo em prol da prevenção. Esta plataforma interdisciplinar se denomina Comissão Diocesana de Proteção de Menores. The preposterous event of sexual abuse of children and teenagers is a silent global fact.It is present in the lives of hundreds of families, reaching millions of minors annually. This event, which can be considered pathological, is, at the same time, a criminal offense, because it hurts the dignity of the person, invading freedom and hindering the development of the victim. This affliction also stroke the members of the Church: children and teenagers were abused by those who should protect and guide them. The Church responded to this event through the Roman Pontiff. Only a multidisciplinary institute would be capable of understanding such event, of sheltering and helping the victims and acting for prevention. This interdisciplinary platform is the Diocesan Commission. |
