Así se reconocerá la importancia del lenguaje, la degrada- ción expresiva y el consiguiente colapso social, signo de una mutación antropológica desencadenada por el consumismo, verdadero principio de identidad, y difundida a través de la televisión y la escolarización obligatoria. Para terminar, se propone un diálogo con Romano Guardini, considerado, como Pasolini, un genio profético en un contexto de ideología hedonista. | ||
| 520 | |a The later Pasolini forcefully expresses his acute and penetrating critique of a society that has by now embarked irrevocably upon a profound anthropological change, or rather, mutation. Taking as its starting point what would turn out to have been one of his final public statements, and going back over some of his other writings, this study intends to illustrate the features of the social and cultural "genocide" said to be underway. It will treat of acknowledging the importance of language, hence of the degraded ability to use it for expression and the consequent social collapse, a sign of an anthropological mutation set off by consumerism, become an identitarian principle, and spread by television and the compulsory education then delivered. Finally, this article suggests dialogue with Romano Guardini, considered, like Pasolini, a prophetic genius in a context permeated by a hedonistic ideology. | ||
