Zusammenfassung:This essay discusses the author’s reflections on a recent convening at the Fetzer Institute on cross-cultural religious literacy (CCRL), and suggests that CCRL education in Vietnam should be pursued via a two-tiered model. Tier one is short-term training on CCRL capacity building for all parties involved in policy-making and implementation to address immediate needs. Tier two is long-term education on CCRL for the whole society through elementary schools and through an ongoing dialogue and process of reviewing and improving all religious policies.
