Description
Summary:The essay illustrates common challenges and paths of reunion between scientific exegesis and dogmatic theology. It starts from the separation that occurred in the 18th century between the two disciplines. The first part concentrates on theological work and analyzes the necessary integration between faith and method. The hermeneutics of Gadamer and Ricoeur guide and articulate the contents of this section in which spaces for dialogue and reflection between scientific exegesis and dogmatic theology are proposed. While the first part focuses on the praxis of theology, the second deals with more theoretical aspects. Specifically, it proposes a clarification of concepts in order to put an end to the present dichotomies in part due to the divine-human nature of Scripture.
