Summary: | The Chronicon Abbatum contained in the "Chronicon Laurbanense" collected the names of the first ten abbots of the Conimbricense monastery of Lorvão that followed one another from the beginning of the 10th century to the beginning of the 12th. We propose in these lines to face the chronology of the two rectors (Dulcidio and Arias) who lived in the eleventh century under the rule of the Taifa kingdom of Badajoz, as well as the political and social context between the Duero and Mondego rivers until the city Coimbra was conquered by King Ferdinand I in 1064. |
