| Summary: | Within the classical tasks of theology, criticism of religion is usually assigned to fundamental theology. With the increasing breakdown of Christian plausibilities the position of criticism of religion in the theological task portfolio is shifting towards practical theological subjects. Religious education and fundamental theology share this task area, which encourages closer cooperation between the two disciplines. The basis for this is the question of the extent to which criticism of religion is already part of the self-understanding of religious education as a research discipline. From this starting point, the article presents how the relationship between religious education and fundamental theology has been seen up to now and makes its own proposal. Religionskritik wird innerhalb der klassischen Aufgabenstellung der Theologie zumeist der Fundamentaltheologie zugeordnet. Mit zunehmendem Abbruch christlicher Plausibilitäten verschiebt sich allerdings die Stellung der Religionskritik im theologischen Aufgabenportfolio hin zu praktisch-theologischen Fächern. Religionspädagogik und Fundamentaltheologie teilen sich folglich diesen Aufgabenbereich, der zu einer verstärkten Kooperation beider Fachdisziplinen anregt. Grundlage hierfür ist zunächst die Frage, inwiefern Religionskritik bereits zum Selbstverständnis der Religionspädagogik gehört. Von dort aus stellt der Beitrag Verhältnisbestimmungen von Religionspädagogik und Fundamentaltheologie an und arbeitet am Material der Religionskritik methodische Verbindungslinien heraus. |
