Within that multi-faceted scenario, the activity of Giovanni Fortunato Zamboni (1756-1850) plays a relevant role. He elaborated an ambitious project to preserve Church's cultural hegemony against a changing society. The article is divided into two parts plus an Appendix. The first part offers an account of Zamboni's thought. The second one presents a survey of the Riflessioni manuscript: an unpublished manuscript ascribable to Zamboni where a secret plan to restore Christian society is elaborated. Finally, the Appendix provides a first edition of the Riflessioni. Cet article présente un aspect de la tendance intransigeante de l'Église catholique romaine visant à restaurer la Societas Christiana au sein de l'environnement européen postrévolutionnaire. Dans ce contexte, les activités de Giovanni Fortunato Zamboni (1756-1850) jouent un rôle important. Il a élaboré un projet ambitieux visant à préserver l'hégémonie culturelle de l'Église face à une société en pleine mutation. Cet article est divisé en deux parties et contient un appendice. La première partie offre un exposé de la pensée de Zamboni. La seconde présente une étude du manuscrit des Riflessioni: un manuscrit inédit attribué à Zamboni dans lequel est élaboré un plan secret pour restaurer la société chrétienne. Enfin, l'appendice fournit une édition des Riflessioni. Dieser Artikel präsentiert einen Aspekt der unnachgiebigen römisch-katholischen Tendenz, mit der die Societas Christiana im postrevolutionären europäischen Kontext wiederhergestellt werden sollte. Vor diesem Hintergrund spielen die Aktivitäten Giovanni Fortunato Zambonis (1756-1850) eine relevante Rolle. Er arbeitete ein ehrgeiziges Projekt zur Erhaltung der kulturellen Hegemonie der Kirche gegenüber der sich verändernden Gesellschaft aus. Der Artikel ist in zwei Teile und einen Appendix aufgeteilt. Der erste Teil bietet eine Darstellung von Zambonis Denkweise. Der zweite Teil legt eine Begutachtung des Riflessioni Manuskripts vor, ein unveröffentlichtes Manuskript, das Zamboni zugeschrieben wird und in dem ein geheimer Plan zur Wiederherstellung der christlichen Gesellschaft ausgearbeitet wird. Zum Schluss liefert der Appendix eine Ausgabe der Riflessioni. |
