Otros han realizado abordajes que atienden el patente estilo midrásico del texto, de honda pericia rabínica, y sus posibles motivos teológicos, enraizados en el judaísmo del Segundo Templo o, incluso, de tendencia helenística o protorabínica. Otros aun han pretendido ver profundas sutilezas ontológicas en cuanto al ser de Dios o en cuanto a la relación entre las personas del Hijo y del Espíritu, pretensiones exegéticas matizadas, o presuntamente ya superadas, en la exégesis actual. La tesis fundamental de nuestro estudio, mediante una Glose Reading de 2 Co 3,16-18, es que la exposición paulina supone una relectura cristológica de la Torah asistida por el influjo hermenéutico del Espíritu. Procuramos, pues, subrayar implicaciones pneumatológicas que no han sido debidamente exploradas. Some scholars have pointed out as the central theme of 2 Corinthians 3 the apostolic authority, alternating the autobiographical and the parenetical genre, the relationship between the old and the new covenant, and the continuity or discontinuity between Judaism and Christianity. Others have taken approaches that address the text's patent midrashic style and its possible theological motifs. Others have even sought profound ontological subtleties regarding the being of God or the relationship between the persons of the Son and the Spirit, exegetical pretensions that have been nuanced, or presumably already surpassed, in contemporary exegesis. Tbe fundamental thesis of this study, through a Close Reading of 2 Corinthians 3, 16-18, is that the Pauline exposi tion assumes a Christological re-reading of the Torah assisted by the herrneneutical guidance of the Spirit. We intend, therefore, to highlight pneumatological implications that have not been adequately explored. |
