The manuscript of this Préface, probably written between late 1962 and mid-1963, remained unpublished until 1998, when its French transcript was published by the Swiss magazine [VWA] in the monographic issue Le cabinet des manuscrits2. The one we publish is therefore his first translation into Italian. |
