Description
Summary:The salvation of God always touches that one, unique person. Therefore, we want to hear from a concrete life, a contemporary, where and how the salvation of God touches this one person. We deliberately chose a source outside the Reformed tradition: Meditation of a Modern Believer, tellingly titled My Bright Abyss. We use this book to see if, and if so, how, thinking from Reformed theology, we can learn from this "modern believer". Four aspects that emerge from Wiman's work pass the review. Four salvificfragments are mentioned: the fragmentary, human life, despair and atonement.
