| Résumé: | This text aims to understand a mechanism that integrates agents, discourses, legal traditions, problems, and religious practices in a diversity of contexts and temporalities: the constitutions emanating from a synod and the episcopal will. Specifically, a synodal constitution dated 1617 and an episcopal constitution of 1717, both produced in the bishopric of Popayán, will be worked on, with the aim of understanding not only the scopes and difficulties of such documents but the variables related to the daily, social and religious life of the bishopric. Este artículo tiene como objetivo principal comprender un mecanismo que integra agentes, discursos, tradiciones jurídicas, problemas y prácticas religiosas en diversidad de contextos y temporalidades: las constituciones emanadas de un sínodo y de la voluntad obispal. Específicamente se trabajarán una constitución sinodal fechada en 1617 y una constitución obispal de 1717, ambas producidas en el obispado de Popayán, con el objetivo de comprender no solo los alcances y las dificultades de este tipo de documentos, sino también las variables referidas a la vida cotidiana, social y religiosa del obispado. |
