Summary: | When the orders of the Trinity and the Mercy were originated as congregations for ransoming for captives, the kings of Castile began to grant them royal graces in order to favor their work. These concessions provoked the complaint from people who report on friars about testamentary issues. The problems resulted in new laws about it in order to overcome the difficulties. But these new laws were not obeyed in daily life. |
