| Sumario: | This essay aims to approach some of the causes of the absence of implantation in Navarre of the Order of Saint Jerome. The political and legislative particularities of the Kingdom of Navarre are analyzed in the Late Medieval time, as well as the characteristics of the Hieronymites foundations that have been able to limit their establishment in this enclave. El presente trabajo pretende aproximarse a algunas de las causas de la ausencia de implantación de la Orden de San Jerónimo en Navarra. Se analizan las particularidades políticas y legislativas del reino de Navarra en época bajomedieval, así como las características propias de las fundaciones jerónimas que han podido limitar su establecimiento en este enclave. |
