Summary:In order to respond to the challenges of ecological transition, we need a profound transformation of political action. However, is the term conversion adequate to describe this transformation? The appeals of prophets for a political conversion may inspire us, if they are transposed in an analogical way to the modern context. Then, conversion may be understood as a reorientation of political action when it is not aligned with the common good.
