| Summary: | The ecological conversion to which the encyclical Laudato si’ invites us represents a genuine paradigm change placing relationship at the heart of existence: an invitation to conceive of relationship not as a means to love but as life itself. This change supposes a ‘de-instrumentalisation’ and an ‘endogenisation’ of relationships. This will be sketched out through three interwoven approaches : the underlying approach of ecological conversion, that associated with economic value and that vehiculated by mesology. In conclusion, the practical experience of the green Church label will illustrate an approach of ecological conversion founded in the relational dimension of life. |
