| Summary: | The present essay presents an ecclesiological proposal which creatively and synthetically takes up the heritage of the Second Vatican Council: the Church is the people of God in the actual form of the body of Christ, made such by the power of the Holy Spirit. With this affirmation in mind, the author redefines some chapters of a systematic ecclesiology: the interweaving between the local Church and the universal Church; the identity of the various ecclesial subjects (ordained ministers, laity and religious); and the essence and missionary dynamism of the Church, starting from a creative dialogue with the philosopher Jean-Luc Marion. |
