| Résumé: | Although still little used by eco-theology, the thought of Maximus the Confessor offers important resources for thinking about the relationship between the human being and the cosmos (the presence of God in the logoi of creatures, natural contemplation, the image of the human being as "priest" of creation). Yet Maximus makes the human being a "mediator" of the salvation of the whole universe. Should this exorbitant place be rejected, with the anthropocentric vision that underlies it? Encore peu utilisée par l’éco-théologie, la pensée de Maxime le Confesseur offre des ressources importantes pour penser la relation entre l’être humain et le cosmos (la présence de Dieu dans les logoi des créatures, la contemplation naturelle, l’image de l’humain comme « prêtre » de la création). Pourtant, Maxime fait de l’être humain un « médiateur » du salut de tout l’univers. Cette place exorbitante doit-elle être rejetée, avec la vision anthropocentrée qui la sous-tend ? |
