Summary: | This article highlights for African Pentecostal Christianity some implications of the current shift in the centre of Christian vitality to the south, as well as the rapid growth of Pentecostalism. Through a qualitative analysis of the activities of the Pentecostal-Charismatic movement in Africa, the article explores the implications of the two phenomena for Pentecostal-Charismatic theological education in Africa as well as African Pentecostal-Charismatic leadership. The article concludes by inviting both scholars and practitioners of Pentecostal-Charismatic mission in Africa to take advantage of the opportunities and at the same time confront the challenges facing Pentecostal mission on the continent. |
