Description
Summary:One of the most important contents of preaching and Writings of Francis of Assisi are the Eucharistic themes. The critical study of the Writings dealing with this topic not only want to identify, order and synthesise the Poverello's ideas in this regard, but seeks also and above all the keys to understanding the motivations that prompted the Saint of Assisi to transmit his experience of the Sacrament of the Altar. The reading of the Writings then become more relevant and inspiring, especially as the proposal unfolds from Francis' initial commitment, aroused above all by historical circumstances, and evolves towards the care to transmit the contents within the first fraternity the indispensable elements of their founding charism. In fact the article studies this development in Francis' Writings on the Eucharist.
