In a "disenchanted world" the place of traditional, absolute values is being taken by authenticity, self-realization, self-creation, and an individual esthetic experience. In contemporary consumer culture drawing sensations and pleasures from life seems to be the fundamental aim for many people, what often leads to ambivalent character of moral judgments. Contemporary so called consumer/collector of sensations creates his own life space due to esthetical criteria. Also the esthetic experience - in a broader sense - proposes a "new" vision of man and, in consequence, a new vision of his spirituality. | ||
