Summary: | The article analyses the relationship between broadly understood education and the Roman Catholic liturgy after the reformations described in the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy (Sacrosanctum Concilium). Until the Second Vatican Council, the Catholic Liturgy had invoked the classical model of education based on trivium and quadrivium. Contemporary changes in understanding of the processes of education influence the evolution of the liturgical action. This article presents the main research themes regarding the described relation. The second part of the text gives a cultural and educational analysis of chapter I, and part C of the Sacrosanctum Concilium. |
