| Summary: | This paper presents results of exploration research and psychological qualitative analysis of internet activity of Slavic heathenism community members in Poland. The purpose of research was to locate identity objects of heathens in accordance with the definition of identity that is a set of objects in mental representation of reality, which are identical with the "I" construct and being perceived by an individual are recognized as itself. The analysis lead to an indication of seven common amongst heathens identity objects that are: neopagan, autochthon, representative of strong and independent Slavic culture, nationalist, participant of political debate, activist/ warrior and ecologist. To create the typology there were extracted two basic types of heathens. |
