| Summary: | According to representatives of many esoteric movements, secrets that have been held for ages should be revealed nowadays. They assume independently that recent times are in a certain sense the final ones. It does not include the end of the universe, but the end of the current eon, after which a new one, with totally new characteristics, is going to come. In the article, there are four examples of such an attitude shown: the attitude of the African Union and Society Komo, the masters of Kalachakratantra, some trends of Visnuism, and esoteric aspects of the Kabbalah. The organic concept of time, where time periods determine the "life" of the universe, is shown to explain this issue. The cosmic organism, similarly to the analogical human one, has its beginning, maturity, senility and death. For representatives of the cited trends the world has come into the last phase of its existence, after which it is going to incarnate in a new form. All activities done in this time have great power, and are able to change individual destiny. This is why revealed secrets have to be a blessing and chance for everyone who wants to be reborn in the new era of moral order. |
