| Summary: | The Institute of Consecrated Life was born and developed as part of the history of the Church. Hence the Church cannot do without having this form oflife. What the Church has accomplished in most of the mission territories, in terms of proclaiming the gospel, education and other charitable deeds, has been and still is seen to this day as the work of consecrated persons. However, do "consecrated persons who are not clerics" have any significant canonical status in the Code? In granting positions or making decisions, what qualifies the person is not expertise and experience, but the title "cleric". In general, women do not have a significant role in the Code and in the praxis of the Church. Involving consecrated women in more significant leadership roles is a huge hurdle for the Church hierarchy. Their involvement, certainly will enhance the quality of the Church as they belong to the "life and holiness" of the Church. Das Institut des Geweihten Lebens entstand und entwickelte sich als Teil der Kirchengeschichte. Deshalb kann die Kirche als solche ohne diese besondere kirchliche Lebensform nicht existieren. Was die Kirche in den meisten Missionsgebieten in den Bereichen der Verkündigung, der Erziehung oder an karitativen Aufgaben geleistet hat, war und ist auch heute noch das Werk von Ordensleuten. Aber haben "geweihte Personen, die nicht Kleriker sind" einen besonderen kanonischen Status im CIC/1983? Bei der Erlangung einer Position oder beim Treffen von Entscheidungen gelten nicht die Kompetenz oder die Erfahrung einer Person, sondern der Titel des "Klerikers". Im Allgemeinen spielen Frauen eine unbedeutende Rolle im CIC/1983 und der Praxis der Kirche. Es ist eine grosse Hürde für die kirchliche Hierarchie, auch Ordensfrauen in edeutendere innerkirchliche Leitungsaufgaben einzubinden. Die Beteiligung der Ordensfrauen wird sicherlich die Qualität der Sendung der Kirche verbessern, da sie "Leben und Heiligkeit" der Kirche mitverkörpern. |
