Description
Summary:Bruaire's philosophical theology is a source of inspiration for contemporary thinking on God and Being. Starting from Hegel and his interpretation of the ontological proof, Bruaire criticises the concept of the indefinable Totally Other and constructs a path to find God and his language within human existence. The encounter with Schelling is decisive in expressing a personal and vital vision of the absolute. Starting with his ontodology and pneumatology, Bruaire goes beyond these two authors by proposing a positive facet of the Absolute that is fullness of gift and love. Bruaire never hides the Christian inspiration of his theology, which leads him to think philosophically about creation, incarnation, and the Trinity. (English)
