| Summary: | Joseph Ratzinger elaborates his reflection on the theology of the liturgy within the broader horizon of the renewal of the theology of revelation. He took on board, also with a critical slant, the main demands pursued by the Liturgical Movement, integrating them, in order to remedy a defect in his reflection, with the dogmatic tradition. His contributions are valuable in determining the quality of the relationship between liturgy and faith, in particular in justifying the interiority of the rite in the economy of faith. The contribution proposes to reread some of Ratzinger's texts in order to offer a presentation and an evaluation of his rethinking of the link, indicated by the author in terms of «anchorage», between the liturgy and the fundamental act of faith, which has always constituted the objective of his commitment.
