Description
Summary:In this article the relation of three text collections in which divine persons act as preachers is examined: Jhesus Collacien (72 sermons delivered by Jesus and the Holy Spirit in visions to a ‘handmaiden of the Lord’), the Ghent Collations of God the Father (22 sermons from God the Father delivered to a ‘handmaiden’), and the Ghent Collations of Jesus (16 sermons by Jesus delivered to convent sisters). Though the latter two series have survived in only one, same manuscript (Ghent, University Library, MS 1038), they seem to have written by two different authors. The two Ghent collections are presumably inspired by Jhesus Collacien.
