Certain individuals and groups who have benefited from the programmes of these bodies are becoming worried of sustaining the continuousexistence of these organizations and they anticipate fear that the corruptive behaviours of these bad elements mayjeopardizethegoodinitiativesthathavebeenentrenchedintothesociety.ThisnecessitatestherationaleforcarryingoutthisresearchtomakethisworkserveaseducatingtheMuslimswhobelongtooneorganizationortheothertobefamiliarwiththeeffectsofcorruptivepracticesamongmembersinordertoworkwithconcertedeffortsforthecontinuoussurvivaloftheorganizations.Theresearcheradoptingthehistoricalapproach,reviewedAl-HayatNationalExecutiveDisciplinaryCommittee’sreportsandassessedsomefinancialrecordsshowingobservablecorruptivebehavioursamongsomemembersofAl-HayatReliefFoundationwhichserveasfocusforthisstudy.Thepaperenumeratedtheeffectsanddangersofthesecorruptivepracticesamongwhichincludeinjustice,partiality,lossofhonourandintegrity,lossoffundsandassetsandpossiblecollapseoftheorganization.Thepaperconcludedwithantidotestocorruptivepracticesamongwhichincludefollowingtheprovisionsintheconstitutions,developinganonlineaccountingsoftwaretomonitortheactivitiesofmembersandjoininghandstogetherbycommittedmemberstoworkasateamforthegrowthanddevelopmentoftheorganization. |
