| Summary: | Theroleofsocialmediasuchas:facebook,whatsapp,twitteretc.,inthecommunicationindustrycannotbeoveremphasized.Itisoneoftheimportantinventionsestablishedintherecenttimeofmoderninformationtechnologyamongfriends,family,andorganizations.Thus,thispaperexaminedtheimperativenessoftheusesofinternetbasedmediumofcommunicationincreatingawarenessonIslamicideals.Conceptualdiscussionsonsocialmedia,da’wah(IslamicAwareness),somefundamentalfeaturesrequiredofdu‘atcumemergingchallengesinhibitingthesuccessofda’wahinourcontemporarysocietywerediscussed.Thepaperconcludedwithacross-examinationonthepositiveeffectsofsocialmediaonIslamicawareness,usinganexploratoryapproachwhoseaimistoexplainaphenomenonofchoice.Italsoadopteddocumentarymethodasitsresearchcollectiontechniquesinwhichtheresearchercategorized,investigated,andinterpretedthelimitationsofphysicalsources.ThefindingsofthisstudyportrayedsocialmediaasnotonlymediumforsocialinteractionandcommunicationadoptedasatoolforcreatingawarenessbylearnedIslamicscholarsbutconfirmedtohaveprovidedafruitfulgroundforsharingofinformation,videoandaudioinstructionsonIslamicteachings.ItthusrecommendsthatscholarsinthepropagationindustryshouldendeavortodrawupandsharewithteamingMuslimyouths,thecodeofethicsandguidelinesforIslamicallyappropriatedbehavior and written word expressions when engaging in social networks presentations. |
