| Summary: | El artículo explora la historia de un centro budista zen argentino perteneciente a la Diamond Sangha, una organización internacional con epicentro en Estados Unidos y filiales en diversos países occidentales. En primer lugar, el trabajo indaga en los estadios iniciales de la formación del grupo en los años setenta y en su posterior consolidación. Luego, describe su rearticulación con una nueva identidad y un nuevo maestro a fines de los noventa, tras una serie de conflictos relacionados con la dimensión del poder y la autoridad que desmembraron la comunidad. Finalmente, analiza los motivos de estas tensiones, así como los cambios y adaptaciones que aquellas propiciaron. The article explores the history of an Argentine Zen Buddhist Center belonging to the Diamond Sangha, an international organization with its epicenter in the United States and subsidiaries in various Western countries. First, the work looks in the early stages of the formation of the group in the 1970s and its subsequent consolidation. Then, it describes its rearticulation with a new identity and a new teacher at the end of the 1990s, after a series of conflicts related to authority and power dimension that dismembered the community. Finally, it analyzes the reasons for these tensions, as well as the changes and adaptations that these led. |
