| Summary: | For many centuries and until now, the relationship between the Church (as an institution) and the state has always been controversial, but always relevant. There are vivid examples when in a particular country certain religions had (and still have) the status of even state ones. At the same time, we know from the example of the former Soviet Union that for religious beliefs, the state subjected its citizens to severe repression. Протягом багатьох століть і до теперішнього часу взаємини Церкви (як інституту) і держави завжди були суперечливими, але завжди актуальними. Є яскраві приклади, коли в тій чи іншій країні определѐнние релігії мали (і зараз мають) статус навіть державних. У той же час ми знаємо на прикладі колишнього Радянського Союзу, що за релігійні переконання держава піддавав своїх громадян жѐстокім репресіям. |
