| Summary: | I am reading an April 4 issue of the newspaper "Day" in an interview with the Director of the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate Anthony. It reminds me of a well-known Ukrainian national comparison: it is yorking like a scar on a skillet. The Bishop's questions sound clear: Does your Church condemn the aggression of Russia and its annexation of Crimea? Why did not you condemn the aggressive actions of Russia Your Moscow Patriarch Kirill? No answer. The Church of the Kyiv Patriarchate or the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in the mouth of its predecessors has clearly said: We have aggression against Muscovy, we condemn it. Even my fellow countryman, the Cherkasy eparch of the UOC MP Metropolitan Sofroni called Putin a bandit. And Bishop Antony spoke so much that the elephant could be wrapped up in his printed interview, but the conqueror of the invader still failed. Therefore, the authorities of the Orthodox Church of Moscow jurisdiction do not hear the Ukrainian people, which all (Ukrainians, not Little Russians or Khokhs) are inclined to go to the ranks of the National Guard to defend our independence. Even I in my 77 agreed to this. Читаю видрукуване 4 квітня в газеті «День» інтерв’ю керуючого справами УПЦ Московського Патріархату Антонія. Воно мені нагадує відоме українське народне порівняння: йорзається, як вуж на сковорідці. Питання владиці звучать чітко: Чи засуджує Ваша Церква агресію Росії і анексію нею Криму? Чому не засудив агресивні дії Росії Ваш Московський Патріарх Кирило? Відповіді немає. Церква Київського Патріархату чи Українська Греко-Католицька Церкви устами своїх предстоятелів чітко сказали: маємо агресію Московії, її ми засуджуємо. Навіть мій земляк Черкаський єпарх УПЦ МП митрополит Софроній назвав Путіна бандитом. А владика Антоній наговорив стільки, що слона можна загорнути в його видрукуване інтерв’ю, а до засудження загарбника все ж не вдався. Відтак влада Православної Церкви Московської юрисдикції не чує українського народу, який весь (українці, а не малороси чи хохли) ладен йти в ряди Національної гвардії, щоб боронити нашу незалежність. Навіть я у свої 77 згодився на це. |
