El primero aporta datos sueltos sobre la presencia de los agustinos en la iglesia de San Telmo desde 1531 a 1834. El segundo recuerda a las monjas agustinas recoletas de Jesús Nazareno. El tercero, que es el más extenso, pasa en reseña la acción educativa y ministerial de los recoletos desde su instalación en la ciudad a principios de julio de 1948 hasta el año 2000. This article describes in broad strokes the Augustinian presence in the city of Chiclana (Cádiz). It has three sections: the fi rst one provides loose data on the presence of the Augustinians in the church of San Telmo from 1531 to 1834; the second recalls the Augustinian Recollect nuns of Jesus Nazareno; and the third, which is the most extensive, reviews the educational and ministerial apostolate of the Recollects since their arrival at the city at the beginning of July 1948 until the year 2000. |
