Description
Summary:Nobody denies that Irenaeus of Lyon belonged to a theological current called "millenarianism", whose antecedents should be found in the Jewish and Christian apocalyptic. The question is to ask why he was a millenarian, what type of millenarianism is the one he proposes and what are the implications for his theology. Hence the three parts of which this article is composed.
