Summary:This article studies in comparative perspective the teaching of Grammar in the municipal Universities of Catalonia and Mallorca from the end of the 16th century to 1717, and it shows that in the Universities of Barcelona, Gerona and Vic the teaching was based on the Grammar of Nebrija, the Syntax of Erasmus and the Colloquia of Vives, while in Mallorca, when the University was consolidated in 1692, with various schools, there was more flexibility.
Este artículo estudia en perspectiva comparada la enseñanza de la Gramática en las Universidades municipales de Cataluña y de Mallorca desde finales del siglo XVI hasta 1717, y se demuestra que en las Universidades de Barcelona, Gerona y Vic se asentó la enseñanza a partir de la Gramática de Nebrija, la Sintaxis de Erasmo y los Coloquios de Vives, mientras que en Mallorca, al consolidarse la Universidad en 1692, con diversas escuelas y centros, hubo una mayor flexibilidad.
