Description
Summary:Goal 4 of the 2030 Agenda and alternative activities to catholic religious education in Italy : the proposal of network agreements on the tracks of Mario Lodi’s thought · The contribution has the objective of finding institutional solutions aimed at enhancing the alternative didactic activity to the Catholic religion class in Italy : an activity which is part of that ‘quadruple-track’ system which in Italy characterizes the Religious Education system but which at the same time has probably represented the ‘weakest’ and most neglected part of the aforementioned system. Following in the footsteps of Mario Lodi’s thought, the contribution proposes that schools sign network agreements that commit them to jointly plan alternative teaching activities within the perspectives outlined in point 4.7 of the 2030 Agenda, guaranteeing students who choose to attend this course a reflection on religious plurality and freedom of religion and belief (as guaranteed by Article 9 of the echr within the perspective of a reflection on all the freedoms guaranteed by the system of the Rome Convention).
