Description
Summary:This research aims to present Jesus as the Messiah-Prophet who announces the good news of the gospel to the poor from the perspective of the Gospel of Luke. The goal is to understand the importance that the poor had, and continue to have in the message and messianic and prophetic activity of Jesus. The prophetic announcement is a message of comfort for the poor and of judgement for the rich. The question to be answered at work is as follows: What is the importance of the messianic and prophetic activity of Jesus in announcing to the poor the Gospel of the Kingdom of God? In this investigative line, it was realized that the Gospel of Luke contributed significantly to Christology by presenting Jesus as Messiah-Prophet; above all, by pointing out that as a prophet he had the mission of evangelizing the poor.
