| Summary: | In this text, knowledge about the social place occupied by certain groups, inside and outside the biblical text, is intertwined with the careful reading of chapter 2,14-16 of Ruth. Starting from life to connect with the text made it possible to reinterpret concepts. And more than that, to recognize life and death interwoven in a revealing dynamic of new meanings about descent, care for the other and nature, so that there is bread and sharing, and so that descent is possible. For this to happen, a categorical imperative “don’t em- barrass her”. It means that true acceptance, compassion towards the other is only possible if they are not humiliated, if they are not violated. Well, that other is welcomed by God mercy. Paying attention to the voices that know about concrete actions of sorority and fraternity, made this dialogue with the text possible, but we also let ourselves be supported by authors who had previously thought and reflected on Rut and others about what is happening in our contexts. Therefore, it is worth mentioning: Jaime Ordóñez, André Wénin, Jacqueline Lapsley, among others. En este texto se entrecruzan saberes sobre el lugar social que ocupan ciertos grupos, dentro y fuera del texto bíblico con la lectura atenta del capítulo 2,14-16 de Rut. El partir de la vida, para conectar con el texto posibilitó reinterpretar conceptos. Y más que eso, reconocer la vida y la muerte entretejidas en una dinámica reveladora de nuevos significados sobre descendencia, cuidado con el otro y la naturaleza, para que haya pan y compartir, y para que, la descendencia sea posible. Para que esto ocurra, un imperativo categórico "no la avergüencen". Significa que la verdadera aceptación, compasión hacia el otro sólo es posible si no se le humilla, si no se le violenta. Pues, ese otro es acogido por Dios misericordia. El estar atenta, atentos, a las voces que conocen de acciones concretas de sororidad y fraternidad, posibilitó ese diálogo con el texto, pero también nos dejamos apoyar de autores y autoras, que antes habían pensado y reflexionado sobre Rut y otros sobre lo que pasa en nuestros contextos fuera del texto. Por eso, vale mencionar a: Jaime Ordóñez, André Wénin, Jacqueline Lapsley, entre otros. |
