Description
Summary:This article interprets the stories of three indigenous Papuan Christian women theologians about racism in Indonesia. I argue that the stories of these Papuan women decipher the encrypted language of racism as an interculturally and intersectionally embodied reality. They rupture the taboo of racism in Indonesia by bearing witness to the embodiment of the trauma of racism in the individual and collective lives of Papuans. Their stories particularize racism and invite a broader conversation at the intersection of feminism, trauma, racism, and intercultural theology.
