| Summary: | Islam plays a constructive role in making society well-balanced in political, economic, and social areas. Therefore, Islam is significant for the growth and prestige of Muslim society. This article includes the role of Islam as a religion in Muslim socio-political interaction. It explains that domestic politics can be legitimate in governing a state’s domestic as well as foreign affairs. Political philosophers’ views, such as Tala Asad, Abdul Kareem Soroush, Ibn-e-Khuldon Abdul Ala Mawdudi, and Justice Peer Muhammad Karam Shah, on Islam as an ethical system in domestic politics have been examined. The exploitation of religion for political purposes and the struggle for revivalism are also examined. Therefore, highlighting the recent emergence of the Islamic political rise is significant. This article also examines the success of Islamic political movements in their vested political agendas and predicts political revival in Muslim countries. Therefore, examining the implications of this rise in religion is an important part of this article. The final section of this article investigates the transforming role of Islam from domestic into global politics. |
