| Summary: | This article examines reworkings in and of the Pentateuch using the terms and categories of hypertextuality , a theory proposed by the structuralist literary critic Gérard Genette. Genette’s theory offers sophisticated ways to categorize literary interactions among texts and to make more explicit our assumptions about how interpretive texts functioned. It can therefore contribute to solving pressing issues in the study of the Hebrew Bible and Ancient Judaism, including the ongoing need to continue integrating these two fields. Dieser Artikel untersucht Überarbeitungen im und des Pentateuch anhand der Begriffe und Kategorien der Hypertextualität, einer Theorie des strukturalistischen Literaturkritikers Gérard Genette. Genettes Theorie bietet ausgeklügelte Möglichkeiten, literarische Interaktionen zwischen Texten zu kategorisieren und unsere Annahmen darüber, wie interpretative Texte funktionieren, expliziter zu machen. Es kann daher zur Lösung dringender Probleme im Studium der hebräischen Bibel und des antiken Judentums beitragen, einschließlich der anhaltenden Notwendigkeit, diese beiden Bereiche weiter zu integrieren. Cet article examine les remaniements dans et du Pentateuque à partir des concepts et catégories d’hypertextualité, théorie proposée par le critique littéraire structuraliste Gérard Genette. La théorie de Genette offre des moyens élaborés de catégoriser les interactions littéraires entre les textes et de rendre plus explicites nos hypothèses sur le fonctionnement des textes interprétatifs. Il peut donc contribuer à résoudre des problèmes cruciaux dans l’étude de la Bible hébraïque et du judaïsme ancien, y compris le besoin permanent de continuer à intégrer ces deux domaines. |
