Résumé:In the present paper I explore the significance of the realization of the four truths as the fulfilment of right view attained with stream-entry, based on a translation and study of the Saṃyukta-āgama parallel to the Sammādiṭṭhi-sutta. For a better appreciation of the scheme of the four truths, I then turn to another discourse in the same Saṃyukta-āgama that compares the four truths to the medical analysis carried out by a skilful physician. ,
