Description
Summary:This article studies the evolution of the doctrine of usury from scholasticism to the eighteenth century. The antecedents in Ancient economy that led to scholastic principles and the concept of fair price and usury, in which time and space was considered a "common good", are studied. In the jump to the eighteenth century, the common space-time feeling disappears, and public goods are considered as a sum of private interests. However, this modern vision closes the path of mutual recognition that scholastics glimpsed.
