Summary: | A sample of 311 primay schoolteachers completed the abbreviated form of the Revised Eysenck Personality Questionnaire, together with indices of church attendance and personal prayer. The data confirm that psychoticism is fundamental to individual differences in religiosity, while both public and private expressions of religion are independent of extraversion and neuroticism. No significant relationship was reported between lie scale scores and either church attendance or personal prayer. |
