| Summary: | The book Paulo e Estevão (EMMANUEL, 2020) by the spirit Emmanuel, psychographed by the medium Francisco Cândido Xavier, has its preface dated July 8, 1941. The publication of the first edition took place in 1942 and in February 2020 the work reached its 45th edition, 18th printing, totaling 773,100 copies sold. The 80th anniversary celebrations began last year and should continue this year. The objectives of this review are (1) to present the work Paulo e Estevão (hereinafter P&E) to the non-spiritist public, arguing in favor of the biography genre as the one that best describes it and (2) to point out the triads as an exploratory reading possibility for understanding the same. The methodology for the brief literary analysis exposed in this text is based on Lewis (2019), which has as its starting point the reader's reading experience; this, in turn, is associated with the text clues. |
