Summary:The Millerite movement is an American messianic movement that emerged during the 19th century and gave rise to Adventist denominations. Among them, the Evangelical Adventists, the Advent Christian Church and the Seventh-day Adventist Church can be mentioned. William Miller's studies made thousands of people believe that Jesus would return around 1843. As the study period passed and nothing having studied the research members for a great disappointment and fragmentation of the movement. This work aims to analyze how the process of growth and fragmentation of Millerism took place.
