Summary: | In this article I present the philosophy and theology of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), which follows the lineage of Indian religiosity gaudiya vaishnava, regarding the trajectory that the individual soul takes when incarnating in this material world and then its process to become (re)connecting with God (Krsna). I demonstrate how this journey of the soul has stages according to vaishnava philosophy itself, and how they resemble and dialogue with the stages of Social Drama, a concept created by the anthropologist Victor Turner. |
