| Σύνοψη: | With the present research we intend to understand how the liturgical dance is approached in the thought of Isabel Coimbra, based on her book Louvai a Deus com Danças. Due to the great success it has achieved, making it a must read for those who want to know the subject, we intend to infer how the thinker articulates her arguments, making use of key categories that allow her to justify the approach between dance and religion. In this sense, we describe, at first, how the social context of the liturgical dance was constituted, then we present the work analyzed and its main points and, finally, we make a reflection with authors that allow us a discussion of the phenomena in order to achieve the objective proposed for this investigation. |
