Summary: | This article aims to discuss the role of teachers in relation to religious prejudice present in schools, especially against African religions and their followers. To this end, we address the activity of movements related to negritude and their contributions, as well as pointing out the essential role that the teacher plays in the educational field in order to resolve prejudiced perspectives in this space, which should promote plurality, respect and freedom. Prejudice must be mitigated in all sectors of society and especially in educational environments, since new citizens will leave these spaces to act in society and there is no more time or space to maintain a social system based on hierarchy of creeds. |
