Description
Summary:Mumford could hardly have been considered a "New Ager," at least as that term has been used in recent years. Particularly important for the concerns of this article is that Mumford, a secular and academic historian, perceived the emerging new age as one which would be characterized by "a fresh release of spiritual energy."
